• That will launch the “network connections” window.
• Look for your WiFi connection name and then right-click over it. Click on “properties”
• Double-click on the “Internet protocol 4 or TCP/IPv4.”
• Click on “obtain an IP address automatically” and then on “obtain DNS server automatically” options
• Now, click on the “advanced” button on the bottom right of the dialog box.
• You’ll see a tab called “WINS,” click on it.
• Scroll down to the NetBIOS settings and click on the “enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP” setting.

• There will be a couple of dialogue boxes, click on “OK” for all.
• That’s about it! You can now close everything and give it a few minutes. Then launch the adapted settings again and you should see that IPv4 connection status as “Internet.” Head on to open any website or page that was previously not responding.

Update any outdated Network adapter/driver

• Start by holding down the “Windows key + R” and then type in “devmgmt.msc” in the Run dialog box.
• Click on enter and the device manager window will launch.
• Now, double-click on “Network Adapters.”
• Look for the network adapter that your computer is using. Once you find it, right-click on it and click on “update driver software”
• Now, click on “search automatically” in the “update driver” box. Windows will now search for the updated driver software.
• Find the network icon on your computer’s notification area, and right-click on it and select “open network and sharing center.” This will now open the “network and sharing center.”
• Now, look for “change adapter settings” on the left-hand menu and click on it.
• Right-click on your wireless network and then click on “Properties”
• Disable the “Internet protocol version 6 (TCP/IPv6)” and then click on “OK.”

• Next, close the window and restart your pc. Your internet should now begin to work.

Disable the WiFi sharing
